I did something to my iTunes over the weekend' and completely erased my library somehow. I freaked out and I erased my iPod imported my backup files and when I went to my music library there were 7,687 duplicates! I started manually deleting files and then I decided to Google to see if anyone had any advice.... most pointed towards the manual way which would have me deleting files until Christmas...
Then I found your software Dupe Eliminator and while skeptical and afraid that I may loose everything or worse - I bought your program and in no time my duplicate files were removed and everything was back to normal.
Thank you so much! This is an excellent tool and without this program I would have gone nuts deleting everything on my own the manual way!

Excellent!!!
Pros: This is a must have if you wanna organize your itunes library!! I downloaded the free trial (it is a full functioning 15 day trial by the way..) & was astounded how easy it was to clean up my library. A must have for anyone wishing to clean up a messy itunes music library.

Works great!
Pros: My library was a mess. This product did it's job very well. Simple to use and effective. At first I was leery about trying the product because of some negative reviews, but took the risk it was worth it. The bad reviews must've been about a very early version, because I experienced none of the negative things that were listed.
Cons: The instructions were not real clear if files were permanently deleted from my computer or just from my itunes library. I found it was just from the library.

“Works as advertised, Freaking Awesome iTunes Tool
Pros: The first guy to review this is a moron plain and simple. This app actually does what it says it does, it finds duplicate songs using more sophisticated criteria than the crappy feature that comes with iTunes. It seeks out dead links and duplicate entries. This is powerful stuff for squeezing the most space out of your ipod. After I was done I was able to get all of my music into my 30 gig iPod. Couldn't do that before running this app! I would say it is indispensable. Try it!
Cons: The fact that it isn't freeware is the only bummer. It is a fully functional copy until the trial expires, so it ain't all bad. “

this WORKS! TRY IT!
Pros: This app. is great. Of course you can differentiate live from studio (choose album names,or size criteria,dummies!).
Sure itunes has a duplicate finder but it wont automatically delete dupes!that has to be done manually.
I have a 30 day fully working trial.My itunes was a mess, now its a joy once again!
Cons: nothing yet.
